Auto-suggestions recommend shift assignments based on each employee's availability, certified skills (forklift, hazmat, returns processing), contracted weekly hours, and recent shift history to avoid burnout. 16 absence types. One system.

Warehouse operations cannot afford ambiguity about who is available and who is not. Dynaflow supports 16 distinct absence types out of the box: paid vacation, time-off (Zeitausgleich), sick leave, sick child leave, parental leave, educational leave, care leave, public holidays, special leave, unpaid leave, military service, maternity protection, rehabilitation, quarantine, home office, and custom types you define yourself. Each type has its own rules for accrual, deduction, approval workflow, and payroll impact.

Sick leave handling goes beyond a simple checkbox. Employees can log open-ended sick leave that automatically extends day by day until they clock back in, with the system tracking consecutive sick days for statutory reporting. When someone requests vacation, Dynaflow shows their remaining balance in real time — including a forecast that accounts for already-approved future absences, so there are no surprises at year-end. Vacation entitlements follow Austrian labor law by default, with pro-rata calculations for mid-year joiners and leavers, and configurable rules for other jurisdictions.

Every absence request follows a structured workflow: Requested, Approved (or Rejected), Active, and Completed. Managers approve from their dashboard or mobile device, with automatic conflict checks against shift plans and minimum staffing levels. The team calendar shows all absences color-coded by type, giving supervisors an instant overview of coverage for any given week.

Your employees deserve better than asking HR for every payslip or checking a pinboard for their schedule. Dynaflow includes a fully branded employee self-service portal, hosted under your own custom URL — like work.your3pl.com. It is built as a progressive web app (PWA) that employees can install on their phones with a single tap, giving it the feel of a native app without any app store distribution. Login is simple: employee number plus a 4-digit PIN, no email address required.

Once logged in, employees see everything that matters to them: their time records for the current week and month, their complete time account with overtime and balance, the ability to request absences directly from their phone, access to uploaded documents like contracts and certificates, monthly payslips as downloadable PDFs, and their personal profile with emergency contacts and bank details. Every feature is designed mobile-first, with a bottom navigation bar that feels natural on any smartphone.

For 3PLs, the self-service portal eliminates a massive administrative burden. Instead of HR fielding questions about remaining vacation days, overtime balances, or missing payslips, employees find the answers themselves.
